Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil, packed
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Add basil, lemon juice, parmesan cheese, garlic cloves, and pine nuts to a food processor or blender. Gently pulse until the ingredients are mixed and finely chopped.
  2. With the food processor or blender running, slowly drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Season with salt to your preference. Enjoy!
